New Collaboration with Grammy Award-Winning Dream Theater - Scenes from a Memory Novel

I'm thrilled to announce that I have partnered again with the Grammy Award-winning progressive metal giants, Dream Theater, to novelize one of their concept albums. This time, it is none other than Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory, for the twenty-fifth anniversary of the release of the record.
I spent time with the band talking about the story and brainstorming to evolve the core tale from the album, and I'm extremely pleased with the resulting novel that I've written, building on those creative sessions.
I'll have more to say about the process and the story in the months ahead. It's been an amazing journey to reach this point of formal disclosure. But I want to publicly say how honored I am to work again with this amazingly talented group--guys I happy to also call friends. And with this album, in particular, I did my best to bring my "A game," because it's not only a fan favorite, but it's one of my favorites, too.
I think folks are going to have a hell of a lot of fun with it.
