My fiction life began, in many ways, when I found Stephen King's Night Shift and Skeleton Crew. I've loved short fiction ever since. Beats of Seven is a collection of short fiction that ranges from fantasy to science fiction to dark tales to the old west. Plenty of music in there, too.
